Captive Fasteners has value added capabilities that include Locking Patch and Thread Coating.
ND Locking Patch is a pre-applied procedure which fuses a nylon thread-locking coating to internal or external threads of fasteners making them self-locking and self-sealing. ND Patch fasteners are dry to the touch and ready for instant use and unlike reactive thread lockers, require no cure time after installation.
Thread Coating/Masking is an automotive approved process in which fasteners are accurately coated with one of a variety of thread masking and lubricating materials.
